A new luxury hospitality group named Beckons has formed by combining Tierra Hotels and Baillie Lodges. The portfolio includes nine boutique properties averaging 25 rooms each across four continents. These lodges target adventure-focused travelers with immersive experiences in remote settings.

Properties span UNESCO World Heritage sites and isolated natural areas. Examples include Tierra Atacama in Chile’s desert region and Huka Lodge in New Zealand. Southern Ocean Lodge on Kangaroo Island reopened in 2023 following earlier fire damage. Each location emphasizes preservation alongside high-end accommodations.

Beckons introduces wellness programs at select sites this year. Silky Oaks Lodge in Queensland’s rainforest offers curated experiences overlooking Mossman Gorge River. The Louise in South Australia’s Barossa Valley adds similar offerings focused on relaxation and nature integration.

CEO Michael Crawford described the brand as evoking an emotional pull toward exploration. Future expansions include announcements for additional lodges in coming periods. The group prioritizes hyper-personalized stays with Michelin-level dining and guided excursions.

No prior coverage of Beckons appears on travelingossip.com within the last 48 hours. The launch aligns with rising demand for exclusive remote travel options. These properties provide access to unique landscapes while maintaining limited guest capacity for exclusivity.
