Emirates has introduced a new daily service connecting Dubai to Prague using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The route operates with flight EK139 departing Dubai at 08:35 and arriving in Prague at 12:35. The return flight EK140 leaves Prague at 15:55 and lands in Dubai at 00:55 the next day.
This addition expands Emirates’ European network to 38 destinations. Prague becomes the airline’s second point in the Czech Republic alongside existing codeshare connections. The service supports growing demand between the Middle East and Central Europe.
The Boeing 777-300ER features three-class configuration with eight first-class suites, 42 business-class lie-flat seats, and 304 economy seats. Passengers access ice entertainment system with over 6,500 channels. Premium cabins include onboard lounge and shower spa facilities.
Cargo capacity reaches 20 tonnes per flight in the belly hold. Emirates SkyCargo will transport pharmaceuticals, electronics, and perishables between the regions. The route facilitates exports from Czech automotive and machinery sectors.
Prague Airport handled over 18 million passengers in the previous year. International traffic continues strong recovery with Middle Eastern carriers contributing significantly. The new link enhances connectivity via Dubai hub to Asia, Africa, and Australia.
Tourism flows benefit from direct access. Czech visitors gain seamless transfers to Emirates’ global network. Dubai remains a popular stopover destination with visa-on-arrival options for many nationalities.
Business travelers access enhanced schedules for meetings in both hubs. Flight timings allow same-day arrivals and overnight returns. Emirates operates over 140 weekly flights from Prague through partnerships before this direct launch.
The airline maintains focus on widebody operations for long-haul efficiency. Fuel-efficient engines on the 777 reduce emissions compared to older models. Sustainability initiatives include sustainable aviation fuel uptake at Dubai hub.
This route marks Emirates’ continued investment in European markets post-recovery. Passenger numbers on similar corridors show double-digit growth annually. The service commences operations immediately with full schedule integration.
Travelers can book through Emirates channels or partner agencies. Fares start competitively across cabins with promotional offers for early reservations. Skywards members earn miles on all classes.
